Choosing the Right Denture
We design and supply new dentures for individual needs and oral structure. When we craft a new denture for you, the process involves five detailed appointments to ensure the best possible fit and function. We work closely with you through these steps, selecting the type of denture that best suits your needs. Options include full, partial, acrylic, chrome and flexible dentures, each made to help support daily use, comfort and ongoing maintenance.
Acrylic Dentures
Many of our patients choose Acrylic Dentures because it's our most common and versatile option. We craft this pink, plastic-like material as full or partial sets. We find this type is easy for us to adjust and repair, with the upper typically using natural suction for fit and the lower resting comfortably on the mouth's ridge.
Chrome Dentures
Chrome dentures are the preferred solution for durable, minimal partial dentures. We use this option only for partial dentures because it incorporates a strong metal framework that connects to your remaining natural teeth – a solution that takes up less space in your mouth and helps provide a long-lasting result.
Implant-Retained Dentures
Implant-retained dentures are the top choice if great stability and retention are your priority. We craft an acrylic denture designed to attach securely to the dental implants placed by your dentist. While your implants heal, you can wear a standard denture; we then add the necessary attachments once your dentist confirms the implant posts are ready for use.
Immediate Dentures
Patients often choose immediate dentures as it guarantees you won't be without teeth after extractions. We custom-fabricate these before your natural teeth are removed, so your dentist can insert them immediately. This placement acts like a bandage during the initial healing, which may help reduce bleeding and swelling. Just remember, we may need to see you later for adjustments (relines) or possibly a new final denture if your mouth drastically changes shape as it heals.
Flexible Dentures
Patients appreciate flexible dentures because they offer a noticeably lighter feel in the mouth. We use a Nylon material to achieve this. While it is less adjustable and harder for us to repair than our standard acrylic, many genuinely enjoy its lightweight design and no visible wire clasps.
